General terms and conditions. Find out what is included and not included, cancellation charges, payments and confirmations.

Rates include:
• Tolls, parking, luggage handling.
• Italian Taxes 10% IVA (VAT - Value Added Tax).
• Driving/guide service.
• Use of vehicle.
• Fuel and highway tolls.

The tour sequence may be altered to avoid congestions but always covering mentioned sights.

If the ship does not make it to the pier for bad weather you will not be considered responsible so NO CHARGE will be made to your credit card, however entrance fees are non refundable unless we can allocate them at a different date. Full charge will be made for no show up.


Rates do not include:
• Client's meals, food and beverages unless otherwise specified in the programs.
• Entrance fees to Museums or Monuments, gratuities at your discretion.
• Ferry tickets where required.
• Additional hours.
• Anything not expressly mentioned as included.
• Airport or dock transfers waiting time beyond the scheduled departure or commencement time.

Cancellation Policy:
No cancellation charges will be levied if the written request for cancellation is received with a notice of more than 21 days from the date of the first booked service. From the 21st day onward, the Reservation will not be refundable.
Exceptions to this deadline can be agreed during the booking/confirmation process between our Agents and the Customer, and will be considered prevalent.

In case of Train Tickets, Hotel Bookings or Entrance Fees, a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).

Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our tender:
Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy
Train tickets cancellations will follow the Railway’s policy
Entrance tickets non refundable

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.


Data Protection – All personal data including name, address, phone number, and credit card data will only be used internally by Driver In Italy for the purpose of conducting daily business. All personal data will be kept confidential and will not be shared or sold to 3rd parties .

Liability Clause - Driver in Italy is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service].

Payments and Confirmations:
With your reservation you will need to provide us with Visa, MasterCard or Amex data (Holder's name as it appears on the Card and his/her birth date, Number and Expiration Date) as a guarantee for the services being booked. Upon receipt of the Credit Card Data we will consider all services confirmed. Your card will be charged only after you receive final confirmation of all services booked from us. In order to serve you better we kindly request that you make your reservation as soon as possible.
