I'm sure that everytime you see these castles in a movie or on tv you said: Look at that! Awesome! That's the place where I would like to live. Well we can't do anything about that but at least go there and have a look what they looks like. Once in a lifetime you should see them!
We suggest collecting you at their Paris address at 8 am, so that we reach the Chateau at Chambord around 10 am. They will then have two hours to visit the chateau and park, in the company of our guide. We suggest stopping for lunch at Pontlevoy, where there is a delightful country inn that serves refined regional cuisine at very modest cost. In the afternoon we will take them to the Chateau in Chenonceaux, one of the most romantic castles in the Loire Valley, and also sometimes known as the chateau of five women, because of the roles played by five persons in its construction and history. We would normally finish this visit circa 5 pm, at which time we could either return to Paris and drop them at their Paris address around 7h30 pm. If you wish to extend the tour, we could take you to another site, perhaps Leonardo da Vinci?s home in Amboise, Le Clos Luce.
