Reach now the charming village of Amalfi, which this part of the coast takes its name from. Free time in Amalfi to explore the old-town and admire Piazza Duomo, the central square home of the imposing, magnificent Cathedral of St. Andrew, named after the patron saint and protector of Amalfi.
It's now the moment to leave the coastline and head up to the hilltop village of Ravello. Perched on top of a mountain cliff, it is famous for some of the most beautiful seaside villas in Italy: Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone. Enjoy some time at leisure in Ravello and - if you want - don't miss the chance to visit Villa Rufolo (whose entrance opens onto the Ravello main square).
