Today, there are around 250 wineries producing Brunello, totaling approximately 6.5 million bottles. Brunello di Montalcino stands as Italy's best-selling high-quality wine and has become the pride of Tuscan and Italian wines globally. Throughout the day, your driver will escort you to several wineries for Brunello tastings, allowing you to savor the essence of this renowned wine.
But other than the Brunello, not far from Montalcino you can find Montepulciano, home of the "Montepulciano Noble" Wine. The fields around the town produce a violet-scented, orange-speckled ruby wine called Wine Nobile di Montepulciano this area has been known since at least the 8th century for its superior wines.
